Speakers
Maryline Chemama is a Chemistry professor, Distance Education coach, and coordinator at Chaffey College. Her academic journey began at Sorbonne University, Paris, focusing on Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry. After completing a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, she pursued postdoctoral studies at UC Riverside, discovering a passion for teaching. She is committed to fostering inclusive learning environments and empowers students from diverse backgrounds to excel. With expertise in Organic Synthesis and a heart for mentorship, Dr. Maryline Chemama continues to inspire the next generation of scientists and educators.
Megan Kundinger is a Natural Sciences Team Lead and Instructor. She loves teaching science and seeing her students' faces light up when they accomplish their goals. Megan holds a master’s degree in bacterial genetics and pathogenicity from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining Mid-State, Megan worked with research labs at the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service and in the Environmental Health and Medical Genetics labs at Marshfield Laboratories. She has published papers on bacterial genetics in research journals.
Charlotte Snoberger teaches six classes in the Biology Department at Casper College, a two-year college, and she oversees the Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and Management program. Before teaching, Charlotte worked as a herpetologist for a state wildlife management agency.
Julian Allen is the Vice President of Academic Affairs for Labster, whose interactive virtual training simulations provide immersive digital learning experiences that reinforce the exciting connection between science and the real world for more than six million students in educational institutions around the globe. When he was the Chief Learning Innovations Officer at Georgia State University, Dr. Allen led initiatives to strengthen teaching and learning through the strategic use of technology, innovative pedagogies, and data analytics. He was also a faculty member in the Learning Technology Leadership program at the nonprofit association EDUCAUSE, helping develop the next generation of learning technology innovators.
